Team Ghaster Painting MGR Racing Confident About Firebird Race
Phoenix, AZ, October 31, 2006. With just 10 days remaining before the next ASC race at Firebird Int'l. Raceway in Phoenix, AZ, Team Ghaster Painting MGR Racing feels very confident about their chances for that weekend.
"The car is basically set. We haven't made any radical changes to the chassis setup since our last race at PIR. We are confident that Firebird will only require minor tuning adjustments and we'll get those done during our testing sessions before the race," said Manuel Gil del Real, driver of the #27 Ghaster Painting Ford Taurus.
Firebird's Main track is a 1.6 mile road course that shares the same dragstrip that is used by the NHRA during their annual stop at the Phoenix racetrack. With a very long straight combined with a narrow and twisty infield, the upcoming ASC race will surely bring some very close and exciting racing.
